Advanced Practice CranioSacral Therapy Training
If you have previous Craniosacral therapy training, but you want to enhance or add to your skillset, our Levels 5 and 6 of our CILT Diploma Program are available for you to take. These courses are perfect for any Craniosacral therapist who currently works with mothers, babies, and/or breastfeeding and for any Craniosacral therapist who has a desire to add this to their current practice.
LEVEL 5 - “CST for Infant Breastfeeding”: Dr. Alison Hazelbaker teaches how craniosacral therapy can be used to identify and overcome infant sucking and breastfeeding problems. She focuses on anatomy and physiology of infant suck, anatomy and physiology of milk making, problem identification, goals for CST, torticollis, plagiocephaly, brachycephaly, forceps and vacuum extractions, cesarean sections, and other birth trauma. She has developed an advanced infant protocol that she teaches during this class. There is also clinical practice on real babies. This is a 5-day workshop and the fee is $1000.
LEVEL 6 - “CST for Infant Breastfeeding: Trauma”: This course focuses on infant trauma as expressed through feeding behavior. Dr. Hazelbaker presents techniques for resolving infant trauma by building on her infant breastfeeding protocol taught in the Level 5 CST for Infant Breastfeeding course. Behavioral manifestations covered are Tendon Guard, Fear Paralysis, Failure to Latch, sensory-based sucking issues, “Colic”, persistent extensor patterns, dysregulation, and occular lock. The participant will be able to integrate these techniques immediately in clinical practice, garnering exceptional results and resolution of infant trauma in their clients. This is a 4-day workshop and the fee is $900.
