Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is ideal for those clients who are in search of deep relaxation, or if you have never experienced massage, have a lot of tension, are sensitive to touch, or have chronic body inflammation (i.e. Fibromyalgia). This is a gentle type of full-body massage that incorporates long gliding strokes and fluid movements along with light to moderate pressure. Swedish massage may relieve tightness or tension in the muscles. Your therapist may incorporate several techniques, including Trigger Point, Cupping, and/or Stretching during your session, should you request it or your therapist discusses specific trouble areas with you that may benefit. Available in 60-minute appointments.

For more targeted issues, we also offer 30- and 45-minute sessions. This allows the massage therapist to work on a specific area of discomfort for the client. Cupping, Stretching, and/or Trigger Point therapy may also be incorporated into these shortened sessions. Please be sure to identify the area of concern upon booking this session so that the therapist can address it. Full-body massage will not take place during these shortened sessions.

**Your therapist will tailor your massage to your specific needs, including increasing or decreasing pressure based on communication from you as the session progresses.

**For your initial massage appointment, please click here to download the intake paperwork. This paperwork is important, as it gives us information about your health history and what you want to work on during your massage. We will spend the first 5-10 minutes of your initial massage appointment reviewing your intake paperwork with you and then you will receive a 50-55 minute massage. For subsequent appointments, please arrive 5 minutes early so that you may use the restroom and are ready to head into the therapy room to get undressed and on the table on-time. Our massages are a full 60 minutes. If you show up right at your appointment time or late for your appointment, some of your appointment time will be used for undressing and re-dressing instead of massage. In this instance, the full fee will still be due and your massage will end at the original end-time of your appointment. We are unable to extend appointments due to tardiness as we maintain full schedules and there are clients scheduled before and after your appointment.

Please Note: Just as with any other healthcare provider, we are unable to provide you with advice via phone or email unless you first establish care. Establishing care consists of filling out intake paperwork and coming in for an initial appointment.
