The Association of Tongue-Tie Practitioners (ATP) was set up in 2012 by a group of tongue-tie practitioners from the National Health Service (NHS) and independent sectors with aims of:
- Increasing awareness about the effects of tongue-tie on babies especially with regard to both breast and bottle feeding.
- Supporting parents of tongue-tied babies to access safe and effective care.
- Assisting tongue-tie practitioners to provide safe and effective care through training and sharing knowledge and experience.
- Providing resources and education for healthcare providers who refer babies for tongue-tie division.
The ATP Conference 2016 begins July 7th at 9 am and ends on July 8th at 5 pm.
