Dr. Alison Hazelbaker, an international expert on assessment and treatment of Tongue-Tie, is presenting a class to enhance the assessment and treatment skills of practitioners addressing this issue in their respective practices. This is a 2-day workshop and offers 12 CERPs through IBLCE.
Day 1: Participants learn how to use the Hazelbaker Assessment Tool For Lingual Frenulum Function in the morning and then put it into hands-on practice with real babies in the afternoon.
Day 2: Dr. Hazelbaker covers the scientific evidence for early screening and treatment of tongue-tie and the evidence regarding maxillary lip "tie". She delves into the faux tie and its various causes. She discusses bodywork strategies for faux tie and as a pre- and post-revision treatment approach.
