This Level 4 CST for LCs course addresses common issues encountered by the lactating mother related to the entire spectrum of the pre- and peri-natal periods. Students will learn techniques to address the pelvis, pelvic floor, epidural scars, and the fascia of the lactating breast. Additional CST techniques for working with breast inflammation, milk blockages, and lymph flow will be taught. Breastfeeding mothers also experience postural challenges related to poor ergonomics during breastfeeding. This courses teaches targets techniques for resolving tissue compromises due to postural strain patterns.
This course focuses on hands-on treatment so it is important for the student to complete at least 30 sessions before coming to this module. Please be sure to log all sessions on the form provided in Level 3, as we will collect them at the beginning of Level 4.
Registration will automatically take place upon approval of your CILT Diploma Program application. Pre-requisite: Completion of Dr. Hazelbaker’s CST for Lactation Consultants Levels 1 - 3 workshops. Completion of log of 30 hands-on sessions at home between Levels and any other assigned homework from Level 3. Do not register for this course if you have not completed the prerequisites as we do not offer refunds, only credit toward future classes.
